These chairpersons form our core committee. Each will assemble a team of volunteers to help fulfill the responsibilities needed for a successful event. As the saying goes, "Many hands make light work."

By involving our entire community, we tap into a wealth of resources and connections. Committee volunteers can come from scout groups, veterans' organizations, local businesses, churches, schools, and beyond—we welcome all who wish to contribute!

Committee Responsibilities

In addition to their specific roles, each committee member contributes in these important ways:

• Leverage community connections to secure funds and resources for the event—all committee members assist in finding Event and Flag Sponsors
• Attend committee meetings monthly or bi-weekly in the early stages, and more frequently as the event approaches, to ensure smooth planning and execution
• Recruit volunteers to support the event—organizing a successful Field of Honor requires teamwork, and we encourage everyone to invite those in their network who might be interested in getting involved
